Recently Villa Pardoes employees in Kaatsheuvel celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the Villa. “Under the motto ‘If it’s your birthday, you’ll be in for treat’ we visited the Emma Children’s Hospital in Amsterdam and the Sofia Children’s Hospital in Rotterdam,” says General and Technical Services Coordinator Bert Akkermans: “This time the roles were reversed because usually seriously ill children come to visit us. In Villa Pardoes they can spend a week’s holiday with the rest of their family, without having the nurses and doctors around. A team of eight employees plus 130 volunteers do everything possible to make it an unforgettable experience.”
