McDonald’s Netherlands is currently remodelling and restyling the lobby area and exterior of all its restaurants in the Netherlands. At the restaurant on Muntbergweg in Amsterdam Southeast, particular attention is being paid to sustainability, an important priority for the company. This is now the first Dutch branch to meet the European requirements for gaining the Platinum standard for sustainability. The energy efficient lighting plays an important role in this, but heat recovery, solar panels and energy efficient air conditioning are also being used.
