Casas Colgadas
Cuenca, Spain

Heritage Granary Complex
Grudziądz, Poland
The Heritage Granary Complex in Grudziądz dates back to the fourth century. Preserved as it is, the architectural complex is an example of urban planning that is unique to Poland and to the whole of Europe. Significant damage was caused during the battles that raged for control of the town in 1945. Rebuilding work continued from 1946 to 1966. Some of the buildings continue to this day to function as warehouses, some are lived in, and a couple have been adapted to meet the needs of the Grudziądz Museum.
