RTBF regional antenna

Radio Télévision Belge Francophone (RTBF) installed one of its regional antennas in Liège in 1961. As the premises it occupied (which were rented) could no longer meet the requirements and developments of the digital revolution, RTBF bought a plot of land on the cleaned-up site of the old rolling mills of Longdoz in 2006. Over the past few years, a new RTBF building has been built, which is modern, welcoming and functional at the same time. It is known as ‘Media Rives’ and is perfectly adapted to the rapid changes within this sector. The new building is located in the grounds of Médiacité, which, with a surface area of 190,000 m², is one of the largest shopping centers in Belgium.
